ANGEL TALK: COMING OUT OF THE BODY: LIFE AFTER DEATH
Approximately thirteen million adults have had a near-death experience. They left their bodies, visited the spiritual realm and came back with stories to tell, but no words to adequately describe the scenery, the means of communication, and the quality of life that exists in the next dimension. Much of what they saw and heard remains illusive and inexpressible, but their mere presence is proof that no one ever dies. I am a so-called experiencer, along with Arthur Eagle. This is Arthur's story:
I caught a cab and went to the hospital, where I was diagnosed with double pneumonia and my temperature hit 106-degrees. In the emergency room I had two cardiac arrests and two strokes, but while all those things were happening I was out of my body; I wasn't aware of any of it until an angel came and spoke to me. The angel was neither male nor female, but like a woman or a young man. Her voice didn't vibrate, but resounded like an echo; it was very mellow and beautiful. She spoke in my left ear and said: Be at peace. You are greatly loved. You are not going to die. You have one more thing to do.
Then the angel took me to the other side, where I was enveloped in light, the brightest white light I ever saw. There were no shadows, no darkness at all. The light was in me and I was in the light. There were people, angels, heavenly beings, and entities that seemed to be from other worlds. They were surrounding me and we were all communicating with complete understanding. Everyone knew me and everything about me, and I knew them as well, even though some had lived hundreds of years ago. Our lifetimes were shared, as we were all one with the light, and yet separate individuals.
Now this is the strange part: I was in two places at once. I was on the other side, but also here watching the medical team work on my body. When I heard a nurse say: Doctor we're losing him. I was floating over my body, aware of what was going on, but still unconscious. There was no pain. I had been in constant pain for two years and had forgotten what it was like to feel normal. I tried to tell the doctors and nurses to relax and calm down, that the angel told me to be at peace and everything would be fine, but they couldn't hear me.
The angel said: You must go back and help the doctor. You won't be able to remember all that you've seen. And suddenly I was back in my body, but I couldn't feel a thing. They put the paddles on me but it didn't work. I tried to tell them to do it again, and when they did I felt my heart start to beat and I was immediately in a great deal of pain. Later, when I asked the angel what was the one thing I had to do, she said: You're already doing it.
I am no longer afraid to die because there is no such thing as death. Everyone is part of the whole and everything makes sense. On the other side there is no separation, no right or wrong. There's only absolute love and a profound realization of peace, unity and oneness.
What we term death is not the end of life but simply a transition from one way of living to another. My near-death experience is different from Arthur's and yet exactly the same. The details do not matter, but rather what we both discovered: Love is the greatest power in Heaven and on Earth.
