CREATING HEAVEN ON EARTH: Seven Initiations
There are seven major initiations crucial to spiritual development:
1. The Awakening: This is your wake up call.
In the contract you signed before coming to Earth, goals were set and your mission was carefully explained. Then, as part of the agreement, you took a sleeping pill and washed it down with a drink from the Fountain of Forgetfulness. Whether a mighty swig or a mere sip, the potion took effect. You forgot who you are, why you were born, and what you are here to do. It was necessary to forget your spiritual nature, in order to accomplish your physical tasks. Then, at a preordained moment in time, something occurred that disturbed your sleep. Maybe it was a book, a divorce, a health crisis, the death of a loved one, a feeling of emptiness, or the whispers of an angel.
2. The Choosing: Do you want to get up or go back to bed?
It is entirely up to you. No one will criticize you or judge your performance, except your very own self. Eternity is forever. You can sleep through it. Or you can sit up, rub your eyes, and take a conscious look at your reality. Do you like what you see? If so, that is good, but your mission is not complete. If it were, you would not be here. Maybe you have some fears lurking in the dark corners of your mind. Or a bit of shame covering your light. Perhaps that pile of guilt could be washed and put away.
3. The Cleansing: Time for hot tears and a cold shower.
Every negative event, in this life and in previous lifetimes, must come to the surface and be cleansed away by the angelic forces. You cannot do it yourself, in secret. This is a job for angels. Each shameful thought, errant emotion, and dirty lie, whether told to you or by you, must be exposed to the light. Embarrassing, yes. But it is far better to allow the angels to clean you up before your return to the spiritual realm, where every soul stands naked in the province of Truth.
4. The Tempering: A walk through fire.
Anger, envy, greed, hatred, jealousy, lust, murder, rage and revenge are stubborn stains. Tears cannot wash them away. And prayers for pity are better left unsaid. If you should attempt to stuff these feelings inside your heart, beware. Your tongue will betray you and all manner of physical ills will befall you. These emotional devils must be cast into the purifying flames of the violet light, which acts as a furnace to temper and strengthen your soul. Purple fire, which renders spiritual forgiveness, burns up karma and transforms the negative into the positive. It is a simple matter of facing your fears and overcoming them, one by one. As you acknowledge your capacity for greatness and also evil, which are inherent in all of us, your true healing begins. Confession is good for the soul, and you have a host of angels willing to listen.
5. The Accepting: You are human, and that is a wonderful thing.
Fear, shame and guilt belong to humanity. Angels are blissfully exempt from such emotions. When you first decided to incarnate, time, space and duality were only concepts. Like an astronaut, you wanted to explore the physical plane, to overcome the obstacles of physicality, and become a more magnificent soul. Little did you know how arduous and joyous this adventure would be. Now, after several hundred lifetimes, you have seen the best and worst aspects of human nature, both in yourself and in others. You have accepted your physical limitations with style, ease and grace, and you are ready to move on.
6. The Levitating: Going up, please.
Doubt is a memory and faith is your constant companion. Issues of self-esteem have been replaced with the elegance of self-confidence. Abundance, rather than poverty consciousness, fills your soul. You have been humbled and exalted. You are somehow able to flow with the river of life, and simultaneously stand on the bank and gaze down at the water below. Every new day holds the promise of pleasure, excitement, and bliss. This is the real meaning of ascension.
7. The Crowning: Your glorious reward.
You have done well, and the moment you have been longing for has finally arrived. Your light has grown to its maximum capacity, and the colors that symbolize service on Earth have been added to your aura. Step forward and take your place amongst the angels, for you are spiritual royalty. Savor the feeling while it lasts, for the soul is ambitious and never rests. Soon you will be off on a new adventure, sent by your higher self to other planets in the universe. Your mission continues: To explore the myriad dimensions of love.
